Pelin Diştaş Yaşaroğlu; after graduating from Istanbul University - Faculty of Communications, she started her career in ATV as a production assistant. Prior to joining Kanal D, she was the Head of Drama Department at ANS Productions, the producer company of successful TV series,  one of which “Gümüş”  has been later licensed to more than 55 countries and the final episode hit a record with more than 80 million viewers in the Middle East and North Africa. From 2006 until July 2010, Yaşaroğlu held the position at Kanal D as the Head of Drama Programming. Since July 2010 she is assigned as the Editor in Chief of Kanal D, Turkey's leading TV Channel.
